East Street's Mission Statement

East Street Alternative Program will provide students in grades 5-12 an opportunity to continue their education after being expelled from their base school. Our program is based on a strict form of discipline, routines, structure and procedures. Our process calls for a reduced pupil/teacher ratio to establish expectations. While at East Street students will participate in social skills training to help them learn to make the right choices.

Vision Statement

East Street Alternative Program will provide every student a quality education that promotes individualized growth with a socially and behaviorally responsive environment which enables students to successfully return to their base schools.   East Street will educate and remediate every student so they may overcome their obstacles and embrace their potential to ensure college and/or career and life readiness.

Student Progress Center

Parents/Guardians of children attending Terrebonne Parish Schools

will be able to track their children’s progress by connecting to the

Student Progress Center.  This website will allow a parent/guardian

to check a child’s attendance, grades, discipline, transcript, and state

tests scores in “real time.”  As soon as data is entered on a student

at school, it is available on the Student Progress Center.

If you have any questions concerning the Student Progress Center

that cannot be answered by the information here, please contact

your child’s school. http://www.tpsd-la.schoolloop.com/spc
